Kingfisher’s of Wakefield underwent a complete re-brand enlisting help from Harpers Interiors to create a charming and welcoming interior to reflect the brand components that had been designed by Picture Smiths.
With a complete refurbishment, the new website had to be able to showcase their award-winning fish and chip restaurant and so, John approached me to provide commercial images would reflect their high standards of fresh food and friendly service.
Commercial photography is a must for any professional business wishing to represent their business in today’s visual world and finding the right photographer is key!
My career started in commercial photography and although I have since created JAM Photography and spend many of days creating unique portrait images, I am still very passionate about my commercial work, and I particularly enjoy commercial food photography.. Especially when it smelt as good as this food did!

It was clear that we were both on the same wave length and with Nicky on the brink of something huge, she asked me to come on board. When I was told the beautiful and loving story of Bobby Rabbit, who he is, where he comes from and where he was heading next, there wasn’t a single part of me that didn’t shout YES!
The original blog has grown into a home for kids’ products that capture the same magical spirit as the beloved Bobby Rabbit himself. The inspiration being “fun over fashion and lifelong over throw away”.
This is just one of the themed set ups that we designed together to showcase the hand selected products that Nicky has created or sourced from across the world to create a shop full of treats for children that “will be cherished when small, and remembered with a smile when tall.”
I talk a lot about how important commercial photography is to any business, but just as important is finding the RIGHT photographer. The photographer that understands you, your business and everything you wish to achieve. It is imperative that your images are a reflection of YOU and judging from Nicky’s review, I think I got it right!
This was an amazing project and it was an absolute joy to be part of Bobby Rabbits next big journey!
The very talented Manuel of Orsi Training asked me to create these images for his new branded website.
Manuel wanted to showcase his personal training and yoga sessions as well as wanting some professional images of himself.
I think you’ll agree, these are not your run of the mill corporate head shots!

Thank you for visiting my new Commercial Photography & Styling website.
I thought as this was the first post on my new commercial blog, I would give you a bit of my history and explain how I got to today.
Lets go back a long, long way… I’m at college studying photography and media makeup with my young heart set on being on a film set making prosthetics. Yep, think Mrs Doubtfire type faces and you get the picture. After a stint in a special effects studio, which basically means a cold and freezing environment due to the materials used, I very quickly realised it wasn’t for me (I still hate the cold now).
Fast forward a few years experience… After studying at the much acclaimed London College of Fashion, working my socks off, I find myself working as a makeup artist and stylist on award winning campaigns for Ikea, Pot Noodle, Sky Movies and Breitling. This was the type of work I dreamed of and here I was living it.
The bright lights of London were fantastic for quite a few years, but eventually a new dream was to be had. Australia!
So off we went, and had a wonderful 6 years living the Oz life in Sydney. I worked on Home and Away, did editorial shoots for Vogue Entertaining, Cosmopolitan, GQ magazine. Celebritites were my clients – yep, some are lovely and some not so. I did campaigns for Tourism Australia, Tooheys, Qantas, worked with Chris Hensworth, Sam Worthington and The Pussycat Dolls, amongst others.
But like all dreams, there is a flip side. Australia is a long way from the UK, and I missed my family. When I finally managed to have my first little girl, I wanted to come home. Back to London was always the plan, but we had Christmas in Sheffield, and here I still am 6 years later.
The JAM Photography studio opened 3 years later, after having my second little girl, and thanks to my very supportive husband & family I have been able to learn and grow as a photographer and also grow my business. JAM specialises in bespoke children & baby photography but commercial photography & styling has always been a big part of my business, and a part that I very much enjoy.
I have some very loyal clients and work closely with some great local businesses (and some further afield). I am keen to support my local area and am passionate about unique businesses that offer great services and quality products. Having built my business from scratch, I understand the hard work and dedication it takes to make it work.
2015 started with Clare Maddicott launching the Wishing On A Star greeting card range featuring my photography, the first of many collaborations with them & Abacus Cards. And with more focus on teaching & training courses later in the year, I thought this was the perfect time to launch my commercial photography and styling website to showcase some of my favourite works.
In today’s visual world commercial photography is no longer a luxury, it is the first thing a client sees of your business and that first impression counts. Professional commercial photography is worth every penny of your investment. If you strive for excellence and quality, you have to be able to portray this to your clients.
And so here I am today.
Thank you again for visiting my site, your support is much appreciated and as always, feedback is greatly received!
